FORCES.

This week we started learning about forces. A force is defined as a push or a pull. Force is by magnitude and direction, so force is also a vector. We learned about different types of forces. Some include contact forces, net forces, frictional forces and others. Contact forces are forces in which at least two object are touching. A net force is a force that is not balanced. Balanced forces have no acceleration and a constant velocity. Frictional forces are forces that oppose motion or impending motion. While me and my sister were doing homework, I noticed that she had leaned her calculator on her textbook and it looked kind of like one of the problems that we had on PA#5, I believe it was the ladder problem. Like the ladder leaned up against the wall, my sisters calculator had 5 forces acting upon it. Force is always around us, but we rarely realize it.
