This week we did our egg drop experiment. This was a hard task for my group to do because none of us have done anything like this before. We used a 33 cm shoe box full of cotton balls and another small box full of cotton balls to hold the egg during the egg drop. In the first video it is shown how our egg was dropped. And in the second video, you can see that our egg survived the fall. We knew that the cotton balls would absorb the shock of the fall. That is why we glued cotton balls to the bottom, sides, and top of the shoe box. Also we glued cotton balls on the inside of the smaller box that was put inside the shoe box. I really enjoyed this experiment because we got to be creative with our egg drop device.
