Without looking at a dictionary definition, I would define momentum as the “muchness” of something. I always thought it had something to do with magnitude, however, after actually looking at the definition I found that it is quite similar but some how different. Momentum is defined in the dictionary as the quantity of motion of a moving body, measured as a product of mass and its velocity. In my opinion, this means the speed of a moving object and how powerful the speed of that certain object is. I also concluded that the equation would be
M (momentum) = m (mass) x v (velocity).
