This week we began a new chapter. We began learning about vectors. Vectors are mathematical quantities that have both a direction and a magnitude. Magnitude is distance covered. Or how we define magnitude in class is "muchness". In simpler terms, vector tells us "what way" and "how much." This picture that I took on my photobooth includes 2 vectors. In order for a vector to be equivalent to another vector, they must both be going in the same direction and be of the same length. The value of my 2 vectors are about 7.6 cm. However, they are not going in the same direction. Therefore, these two vectors are not equivalent.
